Overall I felt like this was a fun well balanced game that family and friends can sit down and play. The last person alive wins the game, just like in the Battle Royal version. Just don't die! Unlike the original Monopoly that requires some tactics and strategy, this version is mostly complete luck, or in my case bad luck during the first game bad luck.
Lastly, and most importantly is how you win the game, and really its simple. Jokes, sadly it just makes everyone give up one of their health points, but could you imagine how funny it would be to make everyone dance? Instead of rolling two dice to move, you only get one 6 sided dice to move, while the other 6 sided die has abilities such as bandages for healing, a brick for building, a target for being able to shoot other players (I'll get to that more later), and a boogie bomb to make other players dance. Each player starts with 15 health points, if you run out of health, your dead! Its Game Over for you. The first person to place their character will go first, and of course 'Tilted Towers' was the first to go, its the equivalent to 'Boardwalk' in the original Monopoly. There is no currency system, you have health instead, you get properties for free, and just like actual Fortnite Battle Royal the map shrinks!Īlso like the Battle Royal players start the game by "dropping" any where on the map, or in this case just picking where to start.
Surprisingly the game play was actually completely different than your normal monopoly.
